Gebratener Rotkohl mit Reis

1. Prepare your vegetables: Chop the cabbage in stripes, cut the red onions and carrot, and quarter the mushrooms. Finely chop the garlic and fresh ginger.

2. In a pot boil the water with a pinch of salt and add the rice. Once the water boils, turn off the stove and keep the lid closed for 20 minutes.

3. Heat the olive oil in a pan, fry the red onions together with the garlic for about 2 minutes. Add the carrot and cook for another 5 minutes on medium heat. Stir frequently. Add cabbage and mushrooms, stir well.

4. Add soy sauce and ginger and cook until the vegetables are soft. Season with pepper and salt if necessary. Serve and enjoy!
